The Change-Up is a comedy film produced and directed by David Dobkin, written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, and starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.The film was released on August 5, 2011 in North America by Universal Pictures.
Two friends, Mitch Planko and Dave Lockwood (Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman), who have drifted apart, now lead different lives, Dave is an overworked lawyer, husband, and father of three, and Mitch is a single, quasi-employed man-child. They believe the other has a better life, and while peeing into a wishing fountain, the two remark that they wish they had each others' lives. The next morning, they wake up to find themselves in each others' bodies, living each other's lives
